Absolutely not. SortLab is a fully no-code app. You connect your Shopify store through the official OAuth flow, click through setup, and it handles sorting without theme code changes.
SortLab uses Shopify order line-item metrics, product metadata, and storefront analytics to calculate sorting signals. It does not ingest customer names, emails, payment details, or addresses for sorting, and compliance webhooks are handled separately from sorting data.
